My August Goals

Hey my loves!

I thought that it would be nice to have a little catch up and share some of the exciting things that are coming my way in the next month… so like every other blogger on the planet, let’s talk about goals shall we?!

I’ll just get the annoying bit out the way first… because, bloody hell August popped around quickly didn’t it?

Feels like one minute I was shovelling snow out of my drive and the next I’m basking in the glorious sunshine of England’s heatwave! So here’s what I’ve got planned and I’m aiming for over the next few weeks:

Get back to the gym (pretty sure I write this every damn month)

The faster that time is passing, the closer that I’m getting to my wedding day! Eeeek! The closer it comes the more I’m starting to think about how I’m going to look in my white dress in front of everyone, so I’m excited to get back into my fitness and start seeing some changes. I’ve joined a cheap one near my new place I’m living and hopefully I’ll get the motivation to actually go!

Start writing my diary again

I’ve spoken before about how important I think it is to write a diary, but I’ve really got out the habit lately. These months/years have been some of the most exciting of my life and I know that I’ll love to pick it up in a few years time and read exactly how and what I was thinking!

See more of London

I’m starting my new job in a week, and I’m going to be in angel, which is a beautiful part of London that I love! I’d love to make more time to see places I haven’t been before, to hang out with friends who are also working there and to actually embrace and love the city that I get to be a part of! I’m a very lucky girl.

Try something different in Edinburgh

I’ve got a little girls trip booked for the end of the month, to catch some of the fringe festival and to have a mini summer holiday, so I’d really like to get out of my comfort zone a little, and to see some shows that I wouldn’t normally have picked! I’ve got my eye on a few, but I’m a firm believer in stumbling across things and trying them out.

Read 4 books

I’ve read 25 books so far on my reading challenge, but I’m getting a bit behind and I want to catch-up. Currently planning on reading ‘The Shining’ (die hard fangirl for Stephen King here), Matt Haig’s new book and a couple of trashy thrillers!

So that’s it! Do you have any goals for this month?
