Now that October and Halloween are done with, I can officially start getting excited about Christmas- right?? *secretly plays Michael Bublé*
But another thing that comes with the start of a new month, is a new set of goals that I’m setting myself.
So first off, how did I fare in my October ones?
Blog more. I definitely feel like I can successfully say I’ve managed this. I’ve had countless blogs over the years, but I’ve been consistent since I started this one back in June.
Join the gym. YAY I’ve also done this one. Been swimming once (it’s a damn outdoor pool, so I doubt I’ll be getting into that until the Spring/Summer) and me and Luke have been going at least once or twice a week since we joined!
Enjoy my kittens being cute and tiny. I love absolutely everything about my babies and I dunno why I even put this on my list to be honest… an easy win!
Finish reading Lord of the Rings and Stephen King’s ‘IT’ and ‘Sleeping Beauties’- Severely failed at this one. I finished ‘IT’, which was spectacular. I’ve started Sleeping Beauties and I’m still trugging on with LOTR (may have accidentally started NaNo and reading something else in the meantime)
Draw More. Um, yeah I haven’t done this. I did Inktober for all of a week and then got distracted and forgot that it was something I was supposed to be doing.
Spend more time with family and friends. We had our engagement party which pretty much ticked most of my friends off the list, plus I spent a lovely weekend with my best girls and saw plenty of family. Tick for me!
Go to a wedding fair. I’ve been to two now… and lord help me if I have one more conversation with someone about bloody chair covers. Nope, nah thanks.
So my November goals?
Book our wedding venue. We’re currently choosing between two but I would love to have that one thing sorted by the end of the month.
Finish NaNoWriMo. My blog may take a slight backseat as I embark once again on writing 50,000 words in 30-days. We shall see if this year I can call myself a winner!
Vlog NaNoWriMo. I’ve never vlogged in my life before, but I thought it might be a fun thing to do to document my monthly progress.
What are your goals this month?
